Why I Love Air Fryer Sweet Chilli Chicken and Halloumi Wraps
Well, I love all the Food, but this Air Fryer chicken wrap recipe is really good!
- I add halloumi, becuse Sweet chilli halloumi is lovely.
- They’re quick and easy.
- It’s a bit like a healthy McDonalds. Who doesn’t love that?
- I make air fryer sweet chilli chicken and halloumi wraps, but the kids skip the halloumi. Use the bits you like.

Ingredients For Air Fryer Sweet Chilli Chicken and Halloumi Wraps.
These Sweet Chilli Chicken Air Fryer Wraps are super simple, and you don’t need much. A lot of it is optional. I Use:
Mini Chicken Breast Fillets – I use 400g because we add halloumi and chicken to each wrap. Use more if you want a higher chicken-to-halloumi ratio.
Halloumi Cheese
Olive Oil
Chilli Flakes – These are optional, but I like that little bit of extra heat.
Salt and Black Pepper
Tortilla Wraps – Flour or corn are fine. Whichever you prefer. I use big flour wraps.
Sweet Chilli Sauce – Store-bought or homemade. I use store-bought.
Salad and Mayo – I love to add mayo, some lettuce, sliced cucumber and red onion, but it’s all optional. Add what you like.

How to Air Fry Sweet Chilli Chicken and Halloumi Wraps– Step-by-Step Instructions
Full, easy-to-follow instructions and quantities are available in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.
Step One
Rub the tray of your air fryer with oil. Spray with a spritzer bottle if you have one and prefer it, but don’t use low-calorie spray.
Step Two
Place the halloumi on one plate and the chicken on another.


Step Three
Drizzle it all with oil and sprinkle on a little salt, pepper and chilli flakes.
Step Four
Place the chicken and halloumi in your air fryer basket. If there’s enough space, lay them all out next to each other. If not, use a tray as a second shelf for more space or cook in two batches. Don’t overlap.


Step Five
Air fry at 200 degrees for 10 minutes, carefully turning halfway through.
Step Six
After 10 minutes, remove the halloumi, and check that the chicken is over 75 degrees C before serving, air frying for longer if needed. I’d take the halloumi out even if the chicken needs longer.
Step Seven
To Serve, spread the wraps with sweet chilli sauce, add the chicken and halloumi, and layer on salad and mayo as desired.



Step Eight
Wrap tightly, tucking the ends in, and serve while warm. I typically leave one side open so I can stuff more in.
