DonnaDundas.co.uk is primarily a food blog. Sharing fabulous recipes for busy families. It didn’t start out this way. It used to be called Bobsysmum because when I started blogging I thought that I was going to be a funny mummy blogger. Then, I realised that I wasn’t funny and that I didn’t have an awful lot to say about parenting. Possibly because I haven’t really got a clue what I’m doing.
Over time, I realised that food is what I’m passionate about. I love eating, cooking, baking, and, apparently writing about food. In a very natural way, it took over my blog, and ultimately a rebrand followed.
Who Am I?
Away from blogging, I’m a busy wife and mum of two. I work as a freelance writer. Which is great, because it means that I get to stay at home with Robyn, take Michael to school every day, and spend as much time as I can, coming up with fabulous recipes. Husband works as a chef, so we’re surrounded by food all of the time.
Why I Blog?
But, while I love food, I can see how cooking can be difficult. When you’ve had a hard day at work and running around after the kids, it’s easier to just throw some fish fingers in the oven for tea. I’m not going to lie, I do this often, and turkey dinosaurs, chip, and peas has got to be one of my all-time favourites. But, it’s surrounded by a healthy and balanced diet. We eat bits of everything and try new foods as often as we can. By sharing my favourite recipes, I hope to help other families eat well, and enjoy cooking again.
