Ingredients

Roast beef
chopped into strips
Vegetables
Could include carrots, courgettes, onion, beansprouts, pepper, and broccoli, peeled and finely sliced or cut into florets as needed
Splash of cooking oil
Noodles
for four
For the Sauce:

Soy Sauce

oyster sauce

Mirin

brown sugar

cornflour

Chinese Five Spice
Instructions
Cook the noodles to package instructions and set to one side.
For the sauce, mix the ingredients together in a jug and set to one side.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan and add the meat.
Fry until the outsides are browned.
Add the veg and fry for 5 minutes until warmed through.
Add the sauce, stir and bring to a simmer.
Cook until the beef is piping hot and the sauce is thick and sticky, adding a little water if it starts to dry out.
Add the noodles and stir until coated in sauce.
Notes
If you’ve got less beef, add more vegetables.
You can make this with raw beef, just fry it for a few minutes first.
I straight to wok noodles, these don’t need cooking first, you can just throw them in for 2 minutes at the end of cooking.
