Ingredients
500gParsnipsTopped and bottomed, peeled and chopped in half, lengthways
PinchSalt and pepper
1TeaspoonOlive Oil
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 200 degrees C and set for 15 minutes.
Place the chopped parsnips in a mixing bowl.
Add the oil and a good pinch of salt and pepper and toss until coated.
Place on the crisper tray in a thin layer.
Air fry for 15 minutes, shaking the air fryer basket to toss halfway through.
Notes
Cut very large parsnips into three or four pieces.
If the centres of your parsnips are woody, you can chop these out, but it’s not essential.
If after 15 minutes your parsnips are still firmer than you’d like, reduce the temperature to 160 degrees C and air fry for a further five minutes.
