Ingredients
1TeaspoonOlive Oil
225gHalloumi Cheesecut into around 15 fingers
40gPlain Flour
1Eggwhisked
50gGolden Breadcrumbs
Instructions
Rub the tray of your air fryer basket with oil.
Place the flour in one bowl, the egg in another, and the breadcrumbs in another.
Dip the fingers one at a time, first in the flour. Make sure each side is well coated and knock off any excess by just tapping the halloumi on the side of the bowl.
Next, in the egg, again make sure each side is coated.
Finally, in the breadcrumbs, coat each side and press in place if any areas refuse to stick.
Place in the air fryer basket on the crisper tray.
Repeat until all of the fingers are in the tray.
Air fry at 200 degrees C for 8 minutes, carefully turning after 4.
Remove carefully and serve straight away.
Notes
I find it easier (and less messy) to use one hand for the flour and breadcrumbs and the other for the egg, or I end up with giant, sticky, golden breadcrumb fingers.Add more breadcrumbs to your bowl if needed.
