Instructions
Cut the potatoes into six to eight long wedges and place them in a large mixing bowl.
Cover with hot water.
Soak for 15 minutes.
Mix the spices, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
Drain the potatoes thoroughly and tip onto a clean towel in a single layer.
Leave to air dry for 5 minutes and dab off any excess water.
Preheat your air fryer to 200 degrees C and set for 30 minutes.
Return the potato wedges to the dry mixing bowl and pour in the olive oil.
Add the spices and toss until the potatoes are well coated in oil.
Remove the drawer from the preheated air fryer and add the potatoes to the crisper tray in one layer.
Place in the air fryer and cook for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, remove the drawer and shake well to toss the potatoes.
Return to the air fryer and reduce the temperature to 180 degrees C for the final 15 minutes.
Make sure the potatoes are soft in the middle and return for a few more minutes if necessary.
